How we use  active sentence and pasif sentence in present tense and past tense

Active voice sentence describes a sentence where the subject performs the action stated by the verb. 

 Passive voice sentences, the subject is acted upon by the verb

Present

o     

o    Active: Andro is cleaning the floor. ( Andro sedang membersihkan lantai.)

o    Passive: The floor is being cleaned by andro. (Lantai tersebut sedang dibersihkan oleh andro.)

o    Active: The students have given the English books back. (Para siswa sudah mengembalikan buku-buku bahasa Inggris.)

o    Passive: The English books have been given back by the students. (Buku-buku bahasa Inggris telah dikembalikan oleh para siswa.)

Past

o    Active: They had watched  opera batak. (mereka telah menonton opera batak.)

o    Passive: Opera batak had been watched by them. (Opera batak telah ditonton oleh mereka.)

o    Active: Franda was cooking the noodle. (Franda sedang memasak mi.)

o    Passive: The noodle was being cooked by Franda. (Mi sedang dimasak oleh Franda.)
